How to edit the sources.list file in Debian - knifebunny - 07-07-2011 07:15 PM

Log into your server via SSH using root login details.

Type the following command to open the sources.list file

nano /etc/apt/sources.list


You can comment out the CD entry by placing a # at the start of the line.

e.g.
